SO we have managed to start school off nicely!! Olivia is doing well and pretty easy to get up and get going. She is living off of charts to earn money for American Girl!!! It is really working- most of the time. Its nice b/c all I do is wake her up then she goes and reads her morning routine chart and does everything!!! Love it!! The night time one not going as well but not too bad either!! Tried the charts w/ Billy, but he just doesn't care!!

Josie is just so so much fun right now!! She is staying w/ me at work more instead of daycare b/c she is just so good anymore. Pretty funny gal too!! Just like Billy was, if not funnier!! And she loves her mama too!! But when she sees her dad- she flips out!! She just adores him anymore!! I can't drive by the farm w/ out stopping or she gets very upset!! He's loving it since she has been such a mama's girl for so long. But he does realize in the end that she still wants her mom!!!

Well not much else going on- you people need to entertain me w/ some new posts!!!!!!

Well, the last blog I had been stuck @ home b/c the kids were sick and I was hoping it was over- NO- the next wk I got it!! Sickest I think I have ever been!! I was absolutely miserable!! Luckily, Bo came to my rescue(I know- stop rollin eyes!) Seriously though- he did EVERYTHING!!! Took care of kids, fixed dinner and was even nice. He did realize how hard it is for me to cook, clean AND have 3 kids up under me!! He said I was a pretty good mom to be able to do all of that!! But now I am better and back to work. We are still going to the pool as much as we can. The whole working out thing is not going so well, ever since I was sick I just can't get motivated. No walking b/c its like 105 outside, can't do my video b/c dvd player broke- this sucks. I still do some but I really need to get back at it! I have lost about 33 lbs now so that makes me happy!!

Olivia is sooo not ready for school. So that day will be very interesting- its next Wednesday-AGHH!! So not ready, but it will be good for her to be back on a schedule! She definetly needs order or she is just a nightmare!! We were gettin to the point of not knowing what to do anymore w/ out someone calling the state on us!! Hopefully, after school starts and she's more on a schedule, it will get better w/ her. As for Billy- well, he's 3!! Not much more you can say. Hell on wheels!!!! He is just a handful anymore!! So much energy its insane!! But still very loving little guy!! And then there's Josie- awe- just love her. She is at such a fun phase. She went from crawling to running. She now is trying to talk, so she will babble a full sentence like she is telling you something- its so funny!!

We are so so excited to be coming in October- the kids are already talking about it!! Olivia tells everyone she can't wait to play w/ her girly girl cousins b/c she doesn't have any here!! Anyway, I'll quit babbling- kindof boring here for now, but we did get to see Toy Story 3 so that was fun! Anyway- talk to ya later!! LOVES......

Here a just a few summer pics- not too much going on. I have been trying to take the kids to the pool more often but then of course sickness hits and we are out for about a week!! UGHH!! But I am pretty sure everyone is back to good health now- fingers crossed!! I was told that we will be starting the house in about 2 wks- fingers crossed again!!! Not sure if it really will happen but I'm hoping!! Other than that not too much! Still trying to get to see Toy Story 3 but hasn't happened yet. I have been working out like crazy- walking 2 miles a day, work out video @ home, push mowing the lawn and more. Its become kindof a habit so when I don't get to, I get frustrated. I was stuck @ home for 2 days b/c of sick kids so it was nice to be able to get out. So far I have lost about 28 lbs which is so great of a feeling. FINALLY!!!! Hope I can stick to it!! Anyway, hope all is well w/ everyone else- YOU NEED TO BLOG!!! Love ya all!!

So alot has been going on lately w/ birthdays and summer and all!! I just emailed pictures from Josie's party or put them on facebook b/c there were just too many to post on here. It was a great party. I was worried b/c it has been raining like crazy but it finally stopped just in time to make it hot and humid! But w/ a snowcone machine in hand the kids were fine. She completely wore herself out.

As for Billy's birthday, he had a great time. He still thinks its his birthday. And then there is Olivia! Oh Olivia!!! She ended up getting swimmers ear really bad and with it being her it was quite dramatic!! I stupidly took all 3 kids by myself to get their pictures done Monday morning when she was st her worst!! Thank goodness for photoshop!! I really can't wait to see these pictures! They should be very cute!!

And then there's the water!! Olivia would go swimming everyday if we let her, hence the swimmers ear!! But she does get to go w/ her daycare twice a wk and then at my sis-in-laws so she goes plenty. The kids love to get the slip in slide out at grandma's and play. But Dylan busted it last time so hopefully there's a new one. Other than that not much else going on. Still losing weight- I have lost about 17 lbs now which I am very excited about and can hopefully keep up at it!! I take the kids for walks around the lake in the double stroller and that really kicks my butt so as long as they are willing to keep going I will. Gotta get back to my skinny self!!

For MOM-
So Billy received this awesome mud table from mom for his birthday and LOOOVVVESS it!!! It ended up going to the farm inhis new sand box b/c he was there all wkend. He hasn't stopped playing with it- it is so cool. I am so glad this is what they got- THANKS MOM!!!

p.s. ignore his eyes- he was in the hayfield all day saturday and seems to have really bad allergies- hopefully Benadryl will be all he needs but he will be out of the hayfield for awhile

And today is my special little man's birthday!! This kid has got to be the funniest, sweetest little thing ever!! Now, don't get me wrong- he has turned into a little demon but he still climbs up on my lap and wants me(just me!) to hold him!! If you ask him- who's boy are you? he replies "mommy's boy" It just melts my heart!! Daddy has even tried to trick him into saying daddy's boy but he never will!!! We don't have much going on for the big day, he took cupcakes to school and got to eat one for breakfast!! Then after work we will go for a walk around the lake, then to the park and afterwards to get a snowcone! No its no Bahama Bucks just some little shack on the side of the road but my kids know no difference. He wants pizza for dinner so we will do that! On Sunday we will have just a family birthday party at grandma's w/ his DINOSAUR cake that he is very excited about!! It is kindof weird having 2 birthdays so close but I am handling it- I just love these kiddos and love to watch them change!!! These kids are such a blessing in my life even if sometimes I feel like I am going to lose my mind!!

Happy 1st Birthday to my beautiful baby girl- Josephine Lynne- better known as "Josie bug"!!!!! It has definetly been a crazy year but I have been blessed to be able to take this little monkey to work with me every day. She has become our little greeter here at the salon. People automatically look for her when they come in!! She has lots of grandma's that hold her and kids that love to play with her. She has such a great personality! She cheeses at the sight of a camera. She is definetly a mama's girl which at times wears me out but it is nice to be so needed. And I am hoping that one day she might actually sleep through the night!! I love this baby dearly and wish time would slow down a bit but I also love the new things she does every day!! Happy Birthday baby!!!

Dinosaur Exhibit

So, for Billy's birthday I took him to see the Dinosaur exhibit at Union Station!! He just loved it. I thought he might get scared but he didn't too bad. He did scream once when he was standing in front of the t-rex to take a picture and it started "yelling" at him. But then he was laughing. It was hysterical. We had a great time. It was nice for it to be just me and him, that never happens. I love that little boy more and more each day. He has gone from the sweet little boy we had to a complete terror but he is still so darn cute. I can't believe he will be 3 and Josie will be 1!! Time has just flown by! Well, no other updates- I know, we are very boring- moor pictures will come soon!!

Well, we ventured out for our first trip to the animal park for the season and what a great day to go!! We were afraid it was going to be packed b/c it was Sunday and the weather was so great. But not bad at all- we think it had to do w/ the fact that they are charging $2 per person on wkends now but no biggie- its worth it for it to not be packed. The kids had a great time. The park has done a bit of remodeling so it was some new and old things which was great. Once we hit the tractors though Billy was off- he loves those things- even if they are a pain to manuver. Olivia of course went on her pony ride. Bo had a "city" boy ask him to help him get a fish off the hook- he said he had no idea how to and thought Bo might know- my big hillbilly!!! :) Josie loved the swings and really didn't care about much else- she really didn't like the goats - AT ALL!!! After a fun day we headed home, made a quick stop at the flower shop and home for naps!! Good day!!

Again- sorry I haven't posted anything in a while but we just had nothing to post!! But here is Easter. The kids had a great day w/ an egg hunt and coloring eggs!! Well, Olivia colored eggs- Billy just stayed outside all day and Josie just entertained everyone. She is getting so big so fast, she now does this cheeseball face when you take her picture. You can see it in some of the pictures- it is so funny. Olivia is finally gettin some of her teeth back in! She is doing great. Billy- well Billy- let's just say he's lucky he's so dang cute!!! He has defintely turned into a holy terror but thank goodness it is gettin nicer outside so thats where he spends most of his day and its also a big bonus that he is potty trained now!! Josie is finally saying mama!! Which just made my day!!! Not much else going on here but with trying to plan for 2 birthdays coming up and lots of other stuff going on I should be able to post more often!!!

Well, we did it. Olivia and I conquered iceskating! I have to admit I was a bit terrified. I haven't been in about 8 yrs and this place was PACKED!!! SO to the ice we went, Olivia was pretty shakey. She went around the side a few times and then finally got the courage to let go. She went along sayin -"I think I can, I think I can" And she did. It was so much fun. She had a blast. I will definetly be taking her back.

Well, here we are- the end of another week!! And I am completely worn out. The baby has got a horrible cold on top of her teeth so she is not sleeping well but I did finally get her to sleep good last night but then I had this little thing coming to my bed, even after I took him back to his bed I would look up and he was right there so I would pull him into bed w/ me and then when he was finally really asleep I took him back to his bed one last time- VICTORY!! Oh wait- what now- its Olivia!!!! "MOM, you left me all by myself!!" (She fell asleep in the living room) And seeing as Billy was in her bed b/s his was covered in laundry, I let her crawl into mine and I went to the couch- Sleep??? Maybe, no- no, really, is that the baby??? AGHHH!! So I grab the baby and we head back to the couch and go back to sleep for just a bit longer b/f the day begins!!! SO now the baby is asleep in her swing, the kids are at the farm cleaning out the chicken house and I am sitting her typing!!! Can't sleep at work- my day is over so I will be heading out to take Olivia to a swim party. I thought I would throw a couple of pictures on here from the Father/ Daughter Dance and from Billy gettin his hair done by big sis- reminds me of Johnny boy when we were little!!!

too long- sorry!! I know its been awhile but not as long as some-hmmm!!!!

Well, not much going on seeing as our only thing we have had planned keeps gettin canceled! But we did manage to get new kitchen floors!! Now, if you don't remember the other "crap" that was down it won't make that much of a difference- but it was CRAP!! Ugly ugly linoleum!! And now we have these beautiful floors- no, its not real wood, we are saving that kindof money for our next house. Billy loves them b/c they are very slippery and he can run and "spin out!" Anyway, thats about it here!! I have been going to the gym almost every day but not much change seeing as I suck at the food part but I am getting better so when it comes time to go to the beach I will be ready!!!

These are just a few pics of playing around the house!! Things are crazy here, from sleepless nights to snow and everything in between but we are getting by!! Hopin for a fun filled year with lots of memories (like buiding a house ;) ) As for Texas- depends on those Cowboys- if they win this week we will be down next wkend, if they lose we will be down the wk of the 30th!! Obviously we are not worried about the Cowboys- but they are playin BRETT FAVRE!!!!! But this is an easier way for you guys to know!!!

As mad as we were of having to cancel our trip b/c of all this snow, the kids have quite enjoyed it. I can't keep them out of it. We got a few more inches last night and then are supposed to get hit again this weekend so they will love that!!

Christmas morning- the kids had a great time!! Olivia got a horse like she asked. It was really cute b/c she said "I asked Santa for a horse but I NEVER expected this!!" Very sweet!! And everything Billy opened he would say- "I love it sooo much!" JOsie just sat and played with her elephant. They also got new sleds that were probably the best thing b/c of all of the snow we got!!

this is the limo ride we got to go on. The girl I work with had a limo one night and asked if we wanted to go see Christmas lights, well yea!!! The kids just loved it. We went to a place where you sit and watch lights that go to music. Pretty cool. Billy thinks the "big car" is her real car- he asked her where it was the next time she came over!!

Well, here is Olivia before her first concert!! Of course Josie dressed up a bit and as for Billy- well, you see he is what he is and thats what makes him so cute!!! My crappy camera wouldn't take any good pic while she was singing but she did quite well!! It was such a joy to watch her stand up there and sing. And as you also see, she is missing 3 of her teeth right in front! The most noticable ones are the 2 front so she was adorable!! Billy tried to get on stage the whole time so at the end we let him get up there and take a picture!! As for all of the other holiday stuff- I am kindof sucking right now. No decorations out, no fun stuff every day!! We did make cookies the other night and tried to go see Christmas lights but it was an outside deal that you walk around in and it was just too dang cold. But once I can get a moment, we will start doing some stuff. The elf is very present in out house and is definetly helping w/ some of the behavior issues we have. Well, the count down has begun- I am not even talking about Christmas either- I am talking about our much anticipated trip to Texas!!!! 17 days to go....................

For Heather!!! Billy was supposed to be going to bed. I thought he was asleep when I wlaked in and he had gotten his book and was reading it. He said he was looking for the deers!!! Then he started laughing. Love that little guy.

The ones of Josie are what we call cheap entertainment. She was getting bored and so I grabbed some plastic ornaments and tied them to her jumper- she was quite amazed! I think it was more entertaining for all of us adults that were ate the salon to watch her with them.

And the one of Olivia is her in her new bed. She just loves it. She is still pretty scared at night of just about everything so I am trying to think of ways to get her to bed w/out being so scared- we have lights on her bed, the closet light on, the fan on and music going- what else can I do???? But we are very excited b/c in 4 wks we get to go to TEXAS!!! WOOOO HOOOO!!!! We are so so so thrilled to get to join in on the chaos of the Whelan clan- as long as we get Taco Bar!!!!!!

Halloween 2009

Halloween was actually fun this year- no fits, tantrums or rain. The weather held out quite well. We started out at family's house, then we drove to Louisburg to finish off. Josie fell asleep on the way down and slept the rest of the time. Olivia ran with the older crowd so I got to take my little Nemo around. He is so darn funny. He told everyone- trick or treat and happy halloween. He tried to go into everyone's house b/c we knew most of them but he even tried to go into strangers. They found him quite funny. I just adore that little boy!! On the way home, we drove thru Sonic for 50cent corn dogs!!! Then went home for a long night sleep. Bo carved pumpkins ealier that day with the kids. I didn't get a chance to put a candle in them till the next night. Olivia just thought it was the coolest, Billy not so much. When he saw them he freaked out- crying and more crying. It really scared him- of course Bo took pictures of crying Billy and the pumpkins but they are on a different camera. He stopped crying as soon as I blew out the candle!!!

We had our big Halloween on Broadway last night- its where they close down the whole street and all of the business's set up and hand out candy!! We got about 400-500 kids atleast. CRAZY!!! But Josie was a trooper- she was having a blast watching all the kids. Then she crashed while sittin watching. I would've taken some of Olivia but she was all over the place and I was really busy passing out candy so I'll post some later from when they go tonight! Oh, and Billy was with daddy of course. There was NO way I was keeping him too!!

Ok, Maybe not!!! I will give you a bit of an update on things. Not too much to add except that i am going BACK on my diet tomorrow. I am pretty positive with myself that I can do it now. I have the nutrisystem food and now that I take Olivia to school, I can drop Billy off earlier and go to the gym 3 or 4 days of the week. NO MORE EXCUSES!!!! This is it!! Especially if we are going to have another baby, I definetly want to get some of this weight off. SO we will see how well it goes. I don't know Heather- maybe if we put a wager on it one of us will win :)!!!!! So wish me luck!!!

Ok, sorry. I have not posted much lately- not b/c there was a lack of stuff to post! It has been crazy around here. The house- ah, the house!!! What a rollercoaster this has become. One day we can afford it, go bigger in the bedrooms, full basement, a barn, start right now- the whole shebang, then the next day- uh, we are going to have to scale back, not have the barn and finish the basement some other time and not start till February; and now, back on to the bigger house and now- AGHHHHHHH!! I know this is a huge change financially but come on!! MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!!!!! I have been trying to get as much done as I can but Bo & his dad have some stuff to take care of first so we are again at a stand still. I was so excited about it all in the beginning but now I am just getting to the point where I don't care- just build it!!! Anyway, on a different note- kids are finally over being sick. What a nightmare that has been. Luckily, Josie didn't get it and really Billy didn't either. His was more of a reaction to the flu mist which I will NEVER do again!!
And, I'll be glad when Halloween is over- get this candy out of here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS IS OUR HOUSE!!! We finally decided!! We are SOOOO excited. It won't be thes colors- it'll be white w/ gray roof and dark shutter and a red door- of course!!! Now we are just dealing with all of the crappy boring paper work part of it!! I hope this gets going pretty quick!! And, it doesn't show it, but there will be a bonus room upstairs that will be a playroom!!

Ok Ok, I know- it has been awhile but I really didn't have anything to post!! And my camera needs to be charged so didn't have any pics. But rest assure, I have some of the best ones now!! LOVE LOVE LOVE these of Josie!!! I had taken her to Picture People for her first ones @ 2 wks old and they had this great promo going on, that if I come 3 times then I get a big 3 picture frame ($150 value) FREE!! So i was all excited only to find out that I was a week too late- IT EXPIRED!!! I was so mad!! But then I realized that I really didn't need that big one b/c I already had a huge one from when she was born and didn't have anything like that from the other kiddos!! Can't play favoritism!!

As for the other kiddos- they are sick!! Olivia has been the worst, running a fever, headaches, stomach ache and so on! Took her to the dr. but they claim its just viral so hopefully she will be back to school tomorrow and Josie doesn't get it, better yet- lets hope Bo doesn't get it, that would suck even more!!!

Six years ago today, I headed to the hospital to have our first beautiful little girl. She was 8 lbs 4 oz and absolutely gorgeous. It was love at first site. Even though daddy thought he wanted a boy- he just could not put her down. And as she has grown into her own little person, I love to watch her blossom. She is definetly a girlie girl, loves her little brother and sister, and is a total daddy's girl. She is doing wonderful at school and is changing so fast. I can't believe it has already been 6 yrs. Even though she is our little drama queen- we love her more and more each day. So Happy Birthday Olivia- you are my pride and joy.

Ok, so here is a more positive one. This is Billy & Josie this morning before school. They were all up at 6:30 a.m. b/c Billy wanted to see Sissy get on the bus. Then he wanted to hold Josie so I grabbed the camera. Got a great picture then she spit up ALL over the poor boy. He said-"mommy, she spit on me!!" Pretty funny!!

Well, it has come down to 2 floor plans for our house. I think which ever one is cheaper to build will be it. We should know by this weekend and start digging next week :) We decided to go up to 2400 sq. ft ranch style with a basement. We won't finish the basement right off but we will have so much room that it won't be that big of a deal!! Very very excited!! Keep ya posted!!

Ok, so been awhile. I will post pictures of vacation when I remember to bring my camera but there definetly not as many taken as other years. I won't bore you with all the drama that happened that week- and there was plenty but the main thing that pretty much put a damper on it all was the phone call we got on Tuesday morning. Our dear friend, Chris Cook "Coldpop" died in his sleep. What a shock, at first I thought Bo was joking when he relayed the message to me. I thought Coldpop was playing a joke on us b/c I didn't get his peanut butter pie to him before we went on vacation. But I was going to make it when I got back. But it was no joke. He was gone. Bo sat there for a bit trying to collect his thoughts but knew he had to call his brother and his other friend to tell them so he went outside. After a few, I went out to check on him but he hadn't called them yet, he couldn't. He broke down and handed me the phone to do it for him. I called them and of course I started crying and could barely get it out but I did. We decided to stay the rest of the week. The wake was Friday night and the funeral was Saturday so we thought we would stay for the kids. We should've just left but its too late now to change that. Bo was a pallbearer along with his other buddies. It was the hardest thing I have been through in a long time. Bo thought we should've come back so he could help out the family and I agreed but I think it was better that we stayed b/c we were together. We cried together and got each other through this terrible tragedy. I really believe it brought us much closer. Coldpop was such a dear dear friend and didn't have an enemy in the world. He & Bo went to school together and worked together for the past 10 yrs. They saw each other every day. Anytime I was on the phone with Bo at work, Coldpop would be in the background asking how "his kids" were doing. He always claimed them as his own. Our kids just loved him. Olivia was having a hard time understanding why they had to put him in the ground and Billy just keeps asking for "my coldpop"!!! Coldpop gave Billy his first set of tractors and his favorite boots that now every time we look at Billy running around in them we think of Coldpop. This will be something hard to get through but we are doing it together. Bo returned to work yesterday and sadly had to walk past Coldpop's desk. We will NEVER forget such a wonderful person and are so blessed to have had him in our lives.

Olivia's First Day

So, Ms. Olivia had her first day of school today. She woke up all excited and then slowly got more and more nervous. But after we got her all dolled up she was ready to go. She wanted to eat breakfast there so we towed all 3 children in and took her to eat. Then we went and took her to her classroom. She put her stuff in her locker and ran into her classroom. Just to see her sitting at the table with such excitement was so sweet. I did not cry though. They got out early today so I went to pick her up. As I pulled up she was standing there with her teacher and her big backpack with a big smile on her face- thats when I teared up the most, I couldn't wait to get to her and hear all about her day. Of course it took about 20 minutes to get through the line of eager parents wanting to do the same but I finally made it. She got in the van and said she just loved it. She can't wait to go back. She wanted to call everyone- but I had to limit it to her daddy and Grandma Whelan. I then took her out to lunch and to the salon- after letting her get a small toy she began to tell me how much she loved me and that she would never say she hates me again- well, she would try not to cause it can be hard sometimes!!! Little stinker :)

Bo had the kids last Saturday and it was VERY hot!! He didn't have much goin on so he cleaned the house, thats right- Bo cleaned the house. He even did laundry!! Then they went to the farm. It was so hot he pulled out this water troth and filled it up for the kids. Now in one picture you see they have no clothes on- thats how Bo does it. The next day they had to go back and do it again but this time they had on their suits. Billy wakes up every day and says-"I go swimming" Poor kids don't go to the real pool but they have just as much fun down on the farm. It reminds me of when we were kids, we filled up whatever we could find with water and away we went.

As for our house plans- I think we have picked out a plan but we are trying to find a place that is a bit cheaper for the design. The price for the plan almost doubles when we go in a customize it - aghhh!! I will post a pic though- its awesome if this is the one we use.

Ok, so as most of you know I have started this Nutrisystem diet. So far the food has been pretty good. My hardest part is not snacking cause thats what I do the most. I usually don't just sit down and eat a big meal. I do have to eat 5 meals a day- Breakfast, lunch , snack, dinner & dessert. I really look forward to the dessert cause thats when i get my chocolate. You are to keep track of everything you eat and you have to eat everything they say. I would have to say thats where I have been slippin. I get so busy at work (which is GREAT!!) but then by the time I think about it I have skipped snack or not had the chance to eat everything I was supposed to for lunchbut, with all that I have managed to lose 6 lbs in one week. That's right- 6lbs!!!! I was so excited. I know its far from where I need to be but the best start off I have had with all the diets I have tried. So, for now, it is going well. I have only really cheated once- those dang cokes!! But I'll keep ya posted.
On another note, some of you know that we had a dog that kept taking off all of a sudden. He even cam one time neutered! I mean really, who does that to someone elses dog?!? We even tied him up one night and the next day he was gone so we thought someone took him. We posted signs and everything for a missing dog and no luck. Well, yesterday I was taking my niece home and took a different way home and lo and behold- THERE"S FLASH!! That's his name!! Olivia noticed him with 2 other dogs and some lady. I stopped the van and asked her where she got him. She said he just showed up about a year ago. I told her that's our dog. We both weren't really sure where to go from there. SO I told her I had to call Bo and see what he wanted to do but really I knew we were going to take him b/c Olivia would have thrown a fit. Of course Bo says to get him so after I got gas in the car I went back and got him. The lady cried and i felt just awful but he is our dog. SO he is now back at home and hopefully will stay there this time!!!

snack time!!!

Ok, so we attempted the Rodeo last night. It was a bit much for a 2 yr old, even the 5 yr old got a bit restless and Josie- well lets just say she was definetly glad to go home:) We started on walking around looking at the animals that 4H had, then went to the little kiddie play area where Olivia got her face painted. Then the food, I have to admit that I was a bit excited to get some good ole' fair food, but aghh! It was horrible. The corn dogs were fine but other than that- gross! So then to the Rodeo. After moving around a bit we decided the best seats for the little ones was right up front so they didn't have to sit on the bleachers. Billy was a bit hard to entertain. they were going pretty slow with all of the events so he got pretty bored and as any 2 year old would do was trying to entertain himself but not to his father's liking! He would lay down in the rocks and not budge- normally I wouldn't care but it was right in the path of people walking so we had to keep moving him, and again as any 2 yr old would do- he threw a fit! So I took him walking around b/c I had to find a spot to feed the baby anyway. After gettin some snacks and feeding the baby we went back just in time for bullriding. And then he was interested- he was yelling and cheering like crazy. It was so funny.

Now, Olivia was her normal mess. After a failed attempt to go out in the arena with all the other kids for something they ley them do. She just sat and watched. Problem was she was watcing the calf roping. She got VERY upset watching these cowboys rope this baby calfs. I really thought we were going to have to leave. Talk about a drama queen. So I took her walking around, let her get an airbrush tatoo and a snowcone. After that she was content and went back and watched the rest. Then we headed to the carnival-BIG MISTAKE!!! First off, I didn't realize how late it was. It was already 10 o'clock!!! Bo had to get up early and I wasn't even thinking that the kids would be bad!! HAHAHAHAH!!!! Billy could only ride about 2 rides and that didn't suit him. And then Olivia didn't like that she only got to ride a few. SO after her fit was over we left. Completely wore out and everyone dirty and tired we took the ride home. I had prewarned Bo that Josie would cry the whole way home and that she did. But it didn't really phase us, the other kids were asleep:)

And as for Josie at the Rodeo, lets just say I will be glad when she takes the bottle better. Kind of hard to nurse a baby in heat around a bunch of cowboys! She did finally take a bottle pretty easy this morning- it was one of the Playtex drop ins. This will be our 4th type of bottle to try with her. She took it like a champ so maybe we found the one. I have tried everything, putting breast milk in the bottle, someone else feeding her, even different formulas. So, I think it has come down to Similac formula and these Playtex bottles pretty warm. Talk about high maintenance!!! But gotta love that pretty girl

So we were a bit late on Billy's birthday present but- alot was going on!! He didn't notice. He was so excited to get his NEW Gator!! He had an old one at the farm that was a hand me down but it was in really bad shape. And this is a new body style, with cup holders and everything. It was the best money we have spent in a long time!!! Olivia wasn't very happy at first that he got something big and she didn't- granted she will be gettin a new four wheeler when we find the right one but it was at that moment that she didn't understand. Needless to say, the next day she was excited to help put it together and show everyone her little brother on his new ride.

Well it happened- our first bad injury. Olivia was running at the farm and tripped falling and hitting the side of her face on a feed bucket!! Luckily I wasn't there when it happened. Bo called me and said that Olivia wanted to come home b/c she fell and hit her cheek. He was very calm about it so I didn't think much of it. I grabbed an ice pack and went down to get her. But you can imagine my face when I saw her. I couldn't believe how bad it looked! As the night went on, her eyelids got swollen too!! The pictures don't show how bad it really looked. She didn't want to go to the pool today b/c she was afraid kids would make fun of her! But she is at the pool as we speak havin a blast.

I just love the look on her face. She loved it and had so much fun!!

We had a great 4Th of July. We started the day by going swimming at my sister in law's house. Billy didn't go b/c he wanted to ride the tractor with daddy instead. After swimming we went to a birthday party and then watched a parade. Billy loved all the tractors driving by in the parade! Then we went back to the farm and let the kids do some of their own fireworks and then we headed to Louisburg for the first time to watch their display. All though it does not compare to Cinci's fireworks display we were quite impressed- especially Bo & the kids b/c that was probably the biggest display they had seen. Billy had his first girl crush- this little girl followed him everywhere. It was so cute- they are actually only 3 wks apart. Billy didn't know what to think of it but she just loved him.

As for house plans- we are still talking about starting in the middle of August. As long as I can get the salon up and going better- maternity leave kind of put a damper on things. We just want to make sure that the salon in gonna do well before we take such a big step. Wish me luck :)

Things are going well. She is a bit demanding but getting used to it! Figured its payback from when I was a kid. The kid won't take a bottle or binkie so its all me all of the time! Somewhat stressful but again getting used to it.

Joined the gym today and as soon as doctor ok's me I'm hitting it at full force. I am ready to be back in shape. Time to get serious, no more excuses. i think i'll just feel better when i'm working out- a little me time will be nice.

Well, our first trip to the animal park- they had a blast. Especially Billy cause this was his first time to really go there. He had been last year but was too little to do much. He ran all over the place. Olivia got to ride the pony but no pics of that b/c we have a ton of pony pictures. It was a fun day, we went to Olivia's swim lessons- she was so excited to have daddy watch her, then we went to lunch. Afterwards we went mini van shopping but w/out any luck. By the end of the day I was ready to be done with kids and hubbie- even though it was fun, being in the car all day w/ the three of them wears me out so I went home and sat in the chair and didn't move for awhile. Billy went with daddy to do hay and Ms. Olivia played at home. She likes it when it is just us girls at home.

Then, yesterday- she had kindergarten round up. I can't believe she starts school next year- it is crazy. She is definitly ready though. She is a child who likes structure so I think it will really help her out. She loved it and didn't want to leave.

As for the house situation, we have finally made a choice. We are going to build on his dads land! Yes, thats what I said. I know, everyone has been telling Bo to do this for years but I think the fact that we had to make such a quick decision on the other house he finally realized that this would be the best thing for us. We will start talking to a builder here soon and get started. Very exciting :)

And as for baby, I am hoping this weekend- it is a full moon. I am dialated to almost a 3 so lets keep hoping- I am done with this whole pregnancy thing! I'll keep ya posted.......

Ok- House situation!!!! I was on my way home last night and passed a neighborhood that I really like. It is just south of the farm and all the houses are on atleast 3 acres. Very nice, quiet area! Well, I have been saying how much I wish one would go for sale and lo & behold one did yesterday. So, I came in this morning first thing to get on the computer and look it up- nothing. So i called and had to take a break at work to go get the address. Long story short, I finally got the info- it is 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath on 3 acres. Very nice place with a new roof and everything(we love to hear the new roof part) and they only want $200,000 for it- REALLY!! Thats what they want!! I about fell over when I heard that! So, I immediatly call Bo and tell him we need to go look at it and his response was "I thought you wanted that other house!" I'm gonna kill him- he acted completely uninterested in that other house. Anyway, so now we are going to go look at both of them and see which one is better. He says he is just afraid that the blue one might be a money pit but we are going to look at so we know for sure!! I am really excited to even atleast go look!! I'll keep ya posted :)

So as of right now, Bo is not making ANY effort on this house thing so I cannot update you on that but I might start pushing for him to go make an offer- so we'll see.

As for the baby- I am now dialated to a 2 and 80% effaced. I don't think I'll go early though b/c I was this way with my other 2 but this baby is waaaay down there so we'll see. The doc said that she is just going to keep an eye on me each week and if I keep progressing then we can talk about earlier so we'll just be patient. But by the 8th for sure-i am definetly DONE!! This pregnancy has been so much harder than the others that i just want it to be done and I am getting so impatient of if it is a boy or girl.

The Flower Girl- she did a great job! I of course cried as she walked down the aisle- it was precious! I didn't get very many pictures but the photographer got a bunch so when i get those i will post them but here is one that someone else took just not the best! And ignore the way I look b/c it was a long day!

ok- so here is a house that as of right now is WAY out of our league but....... it is very close to going in to forclosure and is already listed for $100,000 less than it is valued at. It is listed at $330,000!! Yes-out of our league but the people are gettin desperate and I am getting too hopeful. I have a friend that is a realtor and keeping me posted on it and it is in the area we want. It is on 5 acres w/ a small pond. It is BEAUTIFUL!!! So, no, we probably won't get it but heres to hopin, right?!?!

On the note of kids-AGHHHHH!! Ms. Olivia is still trying us with all she's got-WHY??? What is her deal? Billy is just being good as gold for the most part-until he mimicks her but he stops pretty quick and laughs. I just hope that when she starts school she will straighten up. She is a flower girl this weekend so I am really hoping she does well- she is very excited. I will post pics of that later.

ok- so I forgot to post the pictures of the baby chics- there is good reason for this. See, we bought them the weekend that winter storm came in unexpectedly so it got really cold . We had bought about 30 of them and all but 6 ended up getting pneumonia and dying. We did have lots of heat lamps on them but it wasn't enough. Bo did take the kids and bought more once it warmed up but our chicken luck this year just "sucks". As you can see, Billy wouldn't hold one but he does like to get the eggs. That one in his hands lasted all of 3 seconds before he threw it. I do admit that it is nice not having to buy eggs and it teaches Olivia how to take care of things- she has to help gather the eggs.

Why oh Why!!??!!??! I feel like I am going to lose it with a certain little 5 year old. I love her more than anything but her attitude is really going to make me crazy!! Its always something- her pants don't fit right, her shoes won't buckle, its too cold, too hot-AGHHHH!! And she doesn't just complain- she has a complete melt down. And there is nothing to calm her down. The worst is how ugly she talks to me- you would think she was 13!! She shakes her head and sticks her tongue out ALL THE TIME!! It doesn't matter what I do she just ignores me. She tells me she hates me and that I am the worst mom. But when daddy comes home she does whatever he says. Now he does have his problems with her but no where near what I have to deal with. I really feel like there is nothing I can do at times. I am afraid that my temper might get the best of me. Luckily, little man will do something in the midst of it all and make me laugh. But there are times I just want to break down and cry when she says what she does. I know it is just a phase but it needs to be over SOON!!

Well, here we are with only 8 weeks left until our little one appears. I have to admit that I am getting a bit anxious with the whole thing. I am slowly getting things ready at the house but I don't want to do too much b/c little man doesn't understand that its for the baby and not him. We are managing in our small house. I am trying to make it all work and so far so good. We still have not found a car yet but we are looking. That is probably my biggest stresser is the baby coming before the car. But my midwife assures me that she does not think I will go early since I didn't with the others so that is good. She is being kindof mean though b/c she is not going to let me have another sonogram b/c she knows that I will cave and want to know what the baby is!!! She said that I have to wait!! She is pretty funny about it all, she has to be the best midwife- we love her. Bo is betting on it being a girl and I bet a boy- not for any particular reason just to bet against him. This baby is definitely being a challenge when it comes to that part. I would never put money on what sex it is b/c I have NO idea!! Olivia loves to sit and just watch my belly roll around- she thinks its just funny and can't wait to see the baby. Billy doesn't quite get it- he will kiss my belly and try to give the baby a blanket but doesn't know how to give it to him/her! Its pretty cute. He has started being more clingy to me but I hope when the baby comes he will do like Olivia and just want her dad most of the time. We'll see. I am feeling ok- a lot more pain in the hip and leg area with this one so the doc gave me a muscle relaxer to take at bedtime along with Tylenol p.m. and that seems to be helping a lot. I am definitely ready to not be pregnant anymore. Well, I will keep ya updated on any changes- my appointments are every 2 wks now so hopefully that'll help it go by faster......

Ok, so I know it has been awhile since I have posted anything but I really didn't have much going on- no fun pictures or anything. But we did go to an Easter egg hunt Saturday(which was supposed to be a 70' day & sunny, it ended up VERY windy, cold & raining!) But we still went. I was a little dissapointed. We got there and they had us all sit in the chapel area for a play and the preacher to say some things. Wouldn't have bothered me too much if I had known ahead of time b/c I was completely unprepared to keep little Billy occupied for all of this. But Olivia went up front with other kids and they sang and danced with the teacher- kindof reminded me of some kind of Bible Camp. Then they took each age group out with a leader, Olivia went with her group and I of course stayed with little man. He had fun filling other kids baskets. After it was done I guess I just assumed that they would take the kids back inside and have them sit and wait for the parents- NO!! They just left them alone- Olivia was terrified b/c she really didn't know anyone and she couldn't find me. I found her pretty quick but she was very upset. We got in the car b/c it started to rain and she just broke down. I was furious that they just left he there. So I went and got her icecream and her world was all better!! And to top it off, little Billy was on the cover of the newspaper b/c of it. That just made my day:)

Billy' new favorite toy- Thomas the Train. It is actually Olivia's that she got when she was 3. I pulled out the box of train set and train and he wakes up asking for it. The only problem was- it was Olivia's!! So now she wants to play with it- she hasn't played with it in a year but since little brother wants it now she does. So, for Easter I got more trains for the both of them. I'll also get more train tracks b/c the set we have is little and thats really the part Olivia likes.

Anyway, Billy was playin with it last night and it was time for bed, he wasn't going to bed without it so I gave in. But you can only imagine what story from our childhood was running through my mind- Michael J or Billy Dale I think it was that put the train on his head and pulled a big circle of hair out leaving a bald spot. Now, the trains don't have the same thing underneath to do that but it still freaked me out so I told him he had to put it next to him, which he did. But after I left, I could hear him keep turning it on. I finally went in there and firmly told him that he needed to turn it off and put it down and go to sleep. He looked and me and said "Fiiiiine!", laid it down and dramatically closed his eyes like he was asleep. I try not to laugh when he does stuff like that but it is too funny that my 21 month old does that. It cracks me up when he says -"Fine" to us, just like he's 5 yrs. old, I wonder where he gets it from.

Billy loves pizza- I think he ate three pieces that night!!!!

Why oh why does anyone attempt the dreaded Chuck E Cheese. Bo had told Olivia we would go so finally last Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. we headed up there. The whole way I was steaming thinking the kids should be taking their baths and getting ready for bed but no- Olivia begged enough that he gave in to go that late!!!! So, then I was thinking- with it being almost 8 by the time we got there it wouldn't be so busy-WRONG AGAIN!! It was packed. But we go and the kids have fun, but don't try to play the good ticket games- there are people that just stay at that particular game ALL NIGHT- sooo annoying. They are adults, one was a grandma. I almost said something but we all know how easily embarrassed my hubbie would have been. Then as the night went on, Olivia started asking when was she gonna see Chuck E, so I took her up front and asked when he was coming and the kid says "Chuck E is very tired and has gone to bed" ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Olivia was so upset, she broke down right there, which did not make daddy happy but she had the right to be upset- why would that stupid mouse just not come out for 10 minutes, thats all it would've taken!! Oh well, we proceeded to play a few more games then turned our tickets it for cheap prizes and left. It was about 10 p.m by the time we got home-aghhhh!! But the kids did go right to bed and slept all night. But I am dreading the next time we go, cause now we have to to go see that mouse!!!! I'll be glad when its nice enough weather to go to the parks where its free.

Here we went to the park on Monday, the beginning of a beautiful week. I brought the kids to the salon and gave Billy a haircut. Then I took them to the park. They love to go play. And as we were there, Olivia's very best friend showed up with her school. Her name is Kaitlynn. She is just a doll. Olivia knows her from when she went to school there. The two of them were inseperable so it was very hard to seperate them but we didn't have a choice. So, every now and then we see her and its so cute, they run into each others arms and hug and squeal!! Brings a tear to my eye everytime. I hope they are friends forever.

Just found out that the house we went and looked at appraised at $310,000!!! And they are asking $335,000 so that is good news for us b/c now we know more of what we have to work with. They will never get over $300,000 for that place and they also have their camper and boat in the yard for sale so maybe they are desperate--we will see!! I am going to go look at another house real quick, just drive by that has gone for sale so atleast we are headed in the right direction!!

So many of you know that we went and looked at a house the other day, yes, it is absolutely beautiful. They have definetly taken care of the place. But they are asking a very steep price for it and it just isn't exactly what we want to spend that kindof money on so we have decided to wait and either see if they will come down in price or see if anything else comes up for sale. I'll keep ya posted though.

Ok- so don't freak out yet!! But we are going to look at a house this weekend:)!!!! I am sooo excited. It is quite a bit more than I thought we would spend but hopefully we can get them to come down on price. It is a very nice 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath w/ a full finished basement. It sits on 3 1/2 acres. It is a newer house, I think about 7 yrs old. Right down the street from the farm which is obviously a big seller but I think I figured out what caught Bo's attention the most- it has a 30 x 40 Morton Barn on it which is about a $40,000 barn. I think! Anyway, I'm not gonna think too much into it but the fact that we are even going to look at it is great. So wish me luck- also, I have a client that wants to rent our house - NOW!! So, we really don't have to worry about that b/c I don't think Bo wants to sell it so this works great. Again, trying not to get too excited but we'll see!!!

Our first 70' day!!! The kids just stayed outside all day. Well, we were kindof lazy in the morning, then I cleaned our glider that seems to get every stain on it. Then we had swim lessons and went home. The kids played outside in the sand box forever. Billy drug every toy out of the barn to play with so that was fun to clean up, then they went to the farm the rest of the night. It was great for them to be outside. Its amazing how there is little fighting or demanding. Makes my life alot easier. I even scrubbed the carpets in my car while they played. Never thought it could look that clean. Chocolate does come up!! Now it is ready to sell-no, I don't know when that'll be, but it will be soon:) I am very excited to venture on to a bigger vehicle. The blazer has been great but its time to mini van it-YEAHHH!! Never thought I would say that, and Bo said we could even look at some SUV's if I wanted but I don't want to have to lift a baby seat up into an Suv. I don't know-we'll see.

Oh and by the way- that 70' weather is gone and it is raining and possible chance of snow in a couple of days!!!!!!!

Wow- I didn't know my name choices were so bad!!! I do love Isabella but it is WAY too popular right now. As for Josephine Lynne- Josephine is after his grandma and Lynne-our mom obviously! But we would call her either Joey or Josie. I am quite in love with that name. And besides, I am beginning to think its a boy, and yes, I LOVE the name Simon!!!! And so far Bo is liking it too, but he also wants to name him Favre!!! NOOOO!!! That won't happen but the boy name has been the hardest one to pick b'c he always wanted Isaiah and I don't like it so you will all just have to wait now until the baby is here!!

ok, so I currently sent a "friend" this picture and just thought I would post it cause I think its so darn cute!! She is definetly growing up fast. She is alot of fun although very dramatic at time!! I wonder where she gets that?!?! The picture is just from a day at the farm that Aunt Vicki took her in Kansas. Gotta love that kid!! Other than that, not much going on here in Kansas, just looking forward to the 68' weather tomorrow!! Valentines Day

Ok, so normally this day just comes and goes at our house. I am not a fan normally of Valentines Day b/c of the lack of romance that has existed in my life- even before marriage. Yes, my husband will stop by the closest grocery store on his way home and get me a bouquet of tulips but thats it. I, on the other hand, make a big dinner with candles and all, etc. etc. Well, not this year- I had decided not to do anything but a handmade gift from the kids. I wasn't going all out again. Thats when it kicks me in the butt- my husband actually went all out this year. We went out to eat Friday night to a place called Texas Road House. Awesome- mind you, we NEVER go out to eat, especially not to a steak house!! But he wanted to for Valentines so we went- with kids in tow. Then he got me some beautiful tulips- they are my fav. So, I felt a little guilty. Saturday we really didn't do much b/c we were supposed to go to his nieces b-day party but his step grandfather died and he was a pall bearer so that took up most of the day and the party was cancelled. That night consisted of the tractor being worked on and eating left over from the night before- which did not bother me b/c I got to watch stupid lovey dovey movies on t.v. By the time he came home, Billy was asleep and I was almost there but he still had Olivia and she needed a bath. She was acting kindof goofy like she knew something but wouldn't tell me so after putting her to bed, Bo & I watched t.v then went to bed. The next morning, Bo got BOTH kids ready for church while I got ready. Then as I am getting Billy's snacks for church, little Olivia comes around the corner with something in her hand and a huge grin on her face- she handed it to me and said it was from daddy, he was standing behind her. In her hand was a ring- yes thats what I said- A RING!!!!! No, not a big diamond ring- just a sweet beautiful ring with small diamonds all over. I started to cry giving my wonderful husband a hug and kiss. See, he is not the type to do this. I was blown away. He has been absolutely the most wonderful guy lately, helping out more and just being really sweet. I know all marriages have there ups and downs and mine definitely has, so I am just relishing in this moment. I asked him that night why he did all that and he said that he had never really done anything in all of our 9 years together and thought I deserved it b/c thats how much he loves me!!! AHHHH! I love him......

Ahh, the joys of parenting.....
As many of you know my wonderful little obnoxious 5 year old has had problems since she was born with bed time routine. Ok, her dad has. See he works late and wants to come home and just hold her but in the end-at 10 o'clock- I'm the one up fighting her to go to bed. It has been a battle between the three of us that would really get me upset at times. So when Billy came along, I put my foot down- 8 o'clock and he is in bed, his bed!! He has been wonderful, give him his binkie and mimi(blankie) and he lays down, might take him a bit to fall asleep but he does-ALL ON HIS OWN!!! It is possible, he even sleeps through the night- most of the time! Anyway, back to Ms. Olivia, last week I put a sticker chart on the fridge, for 2 weeks, if she goes to bed when I say, at 8:30, with no battle and stays there she gets a sticker the next day, and at the end of it all she gets a special prize. But if she messes up even one time, she has to start all over. And lo and behold- its working. Yes, I did try the chart idea before but I think its b/c of her age now and the fact that her and Billy go to bed together it helps. I also put lights on her bed b/c her cousin, Kyra, had that and she just loved it. I am so happy. I put them both down last night after baths and that was it, they went to sleep- its a miracle. And right on time with the other baby coming in June-its perfect. I can't express how happy it makes me, yes, I am easy to please but it has really been a battle. One that little brother was starting to catch on to so I am glad its over. She hasn't decided what her prize is yet- it will either be Disney on Ice or go to a movie and lunch with mommy. Still waiting for her to decide. I am just happy that it finally worked- but I wonder-where's my prize for working so hard for all these years to get this to happen. I guess it s the fact that it happened and I'm not up till 10:30 fighting with her anymore

So, we finally had a nice day here in Kansas. The temperature was good, no wind, no snow, no rain. So as soon as we get home Ms. Olivia puts on her "summer" clothes-flip flops and all. It was only about 68' but she was hot!! Then they head outside. Next thing I know they are in the mud. Olivia thought she was surely gonna get it b/c this is a big no no to dig in the yard. But daddy was no where around and it was just a spot on the edge of the yard and they were being soo good so who am I to stop them. It also reminded me of when we were kids making mud pies so I don't make them stop, I grab the camera. It was quite humerous and they were so entertained. Then they really loved to go clean up in the water spout, again another no no for them to play in that but I wasn't lettin them in my house with all that mud, so I let them play in the water for a few minutes. By the end Billy was soaked,, Olivia was cold and there was mud everywhere, good thing it rained on Monday.

the newest addition to our family. His name is Ace. He is absolutely adorable. He is only 50 lbs, which is about 1/2 the size of a normal calf. He is our little midget. Billy loves him. He can't kick or anything so he is just right for the kids. They feed him with a bottle. When Bo is at the farm, Ace just runs around like a puppy, he follows them everywhere. It is great.

Ok, I know, I posted just 2 blogs ago about how funny and great Billy was, but as of last night I could have shipped him to Texas!!!! See, I am not getting much sleep do to this creature inside of me. My already big hips are expanding and it makes it really hard for me to get comfortable and I am ot "supposed" to sleep on my back at this point which really sucks. On top of that I had to go to the doctor Thursday for an excrutiating pain I had in my lower stomach. It turned out I did have an infection which is being taken care of but still sore. So back to Billy- see the doc told me I could take Tylenol P.m. before bed to help, so after having a glorious massage yesterday I was ready to jump into to bed and get some sleep with drugs. Not at my house, at about 11:30 the little guy woke up, then 12:20 then about every 30 mintutes after I would get him back to sleep he would be up again. What was his problem, you ask- I DON'T KNOW!!!!!!! That made it even more frustrating. See he is usually our good sleeper so I knew something was wrong. Was it his teeth, ears-WHAT!! He couldn't tell me so we ended up on the couch to see if that would help, I then placed him on the floor b/c he kept kicking so much. Then he had rolled under the coffee table and hit his head-here we go again. And I know you are wondering where was daddy?? Ha ha ha!!! It wouldn't have helped. He had Olivia anyway by this point so Billy wouldn't wake her. Finally about 5:30 the kid slept for a couple of hours. Needless to say, I made a big out of the way trip to Starbucks this morning..........

On another note: we had the sonogram this week. The baby looks great. Way down there with his/her head already down. Measuring on time and everything. And as many of you know we are not finding out what it is but the sonographer did scroll by that area and if I had to put money on it I would say pink but I don't know how zoomed in they have to be to see. But what we saw looked very girly to me. But don't go shopping yet, oh oops, i already did. But thats just b/c the girl stuff was on clearance and too cute. I did realize that though this whole time we figured we were set on boy & girl clothes it hit me that this baby and Olivia ar 2 totally different seasons. So if it is a girl, I'll HAVE to go shopping-dang it;)

Fun on the Farm

So we got a little bit of snow yesterday so out came the four wheeler. Olivia gets so excited when it snows b/c she knows her dad will take her sledding(ok, redneck sledding!). He hooks an old truck hood onto the back and she gets all bundles up and away they go. It is quite humerous to watch as he goes around the field. There are a few small hills that she really loves to hit. You can just hear her laughing as they go. But it was quickly over as it is 40 degrees today and everything is melting so now she is riding her own four wheeler in the mud. Oh, the cheap fun on the farm!!

My little man--oh, if I had only known boys would be so much fun. Our little guy is into everything and on everything. He is pretty funny with all his remarks. He is like a broken record, copying everything we say.

This morning while I was in the shower, I left him and his sister watching t.v. for the only 10 minutes of the day I get to myself. I knew very well that he would come knocking at the door sometime but I didn't think for one minute that this would happen: see, he can't open a door yet so as I got out of the shower I heard the knob being played with so I told him just a minute. He returned with "bath, bath" so I figured I would let him play in the bath while I got ready. I open the door and here comes my bare bottomed little boy. He had nothing on, I just laughed until he got to the tub, again saying "bath, bath" and he turned around and I saw the mess-poop all over his bottom. I kindof panicked. B/c if there is poop on his bottom then where is that diaper. I scurried through the house thinking I would find poop all over. I asked his sister where the diaper was-she didn't really care about the whole situation-but she finally told me he took it in the kitchen. Aghh-I thought! I went in there and looked all over but still no diaper. Then I looked in the burn trash box and there it was. No mess, no poop all over, he just took it off and put it in the trash then came to get cleaned up. Funny little guy..........

ok, so some don't see the big deal in this but Billy watched Toy Story for the first time last night and it just made me smile. Olivia thought I was crazy taking pictures of them watching it but that movie is special and I love to watch it every time it is on. And of course when we found the Woody doll, Billy got very excited. No, he didn't sit through it all but Olivia did and she seemed to watch it like it was her first time too. The little things in life that make us happy, and I really can't wait until 2010 when Toy Story 3 comes out-YEAH!!!!!!

Ahhh....Pregnancy

I just thought i'd throw in one of the pics Bo took showing my ever growing belly. He was doin really good in the beginning taking one each week to watch it grow along with the kids in the picture but then we kindof slacked and seeing as you really couldn't see anything I won't mess with postin those. The pregnancy is goin well. We have our sonogram on the 19th and Olivia is going to go. She is very excited to see the baby. But of course we will not be finding out what it is and I definetly have absolutely no clue seeing as this pregnancy is 100% different then the other two. I am having to go see a radiologist that my doctor is sending me to b/c of some minor chest pains that I have been having. It has been going on since before I got pregnant but i finally decided to quit putting it off. My dr. put me on medicine for acid reflux to eliminate that but I am pretty positive thats not the problem so they still want me to go to a specialist b/c mainly of family history. I am sure its nothing, probably just stress but I'd rather be safe than sorry so I'll keep everyone posted on that. Other than that, baby is great.

Oh, what fun.....the kids had a great morning. I believe Olivia got everything she asked for, except a dog!!! That'll come at a later date. It was alot of fun to watch them both get so excited everytime they opened something. Billy would just say-"Oh, wow, wow!" And Olivia couldn't believe Santa got her what she asked for. And she got a pair of pink and white cowboy boots that I think got the most emotional reaction. Once she opened them she jumped in her dads arms giving him the biggest hug. She had shown him those boots when they were at the store and he somehow snuck out with them without her seeing them. Tearful moment, very sweet. And of course Billy didn't show much concern for anything except once we showed him how Elmo works, he just laughed and laughed.....that new Elmo is quite humerous if I do say so myself. All in all a memorable Christmas morning, of course it kindof went downhill after that. See, I decided to make a big breakfast that everyone would eat, sausage, pancakes, eggs, etc. So as I am getting it all done I go to get out the condiments. I reach for the syrup and there is only about 2 tablespoons of syrup left-What NO SYRUP!!!!!! What will I do??I of course had to think fast. Good thing my sister in law lives a minute away, I quickly ran over and got some and we were able to eat. Then, I slowly got sicker an sicker, just thinking it was the baby but no, I had gotten the stomach bug that Bo & Olivia had on Monday-oh misery!! Bo had to go the farm so he took Billy, which was so much help. And Olivia just played with her new toys all day. I, of course, just layed on the couch watchin Lifetime movies. I felt better the next day so no biggie. Well, I hope everyone had a great Christmas.

What a fun time, Olivia and I had a blast!!!! This was the best show I've been to in a long time. And to see how excited Olivia was just made it better. I think I cried for the first 15 minutes watching her get so excited. Stupid hormones. She loved the girls and thought it was so cool how in sync they were. And the dancing Santas were a big hit. But her favorite was the "golden girls" dancing. Thats what she called them, so of course she got a Rockette Barbie to take home with her. Which she took home and put on the shelf next to Simon the Elf b/c she thought he needed a girlfriend!!!

This is our elf named Simon. He has been a great addition to our household. Olivia has been on her best behavior since he came. She know she cannot touch him or that he cannot talk to her but she loves to talk to him. She really loves to wake up every morning and find his new hiding spot. It is a great way to get her up in a happy mood in the morning. Billy doesn't really get it but thats ok.

and this is where Simon was yesterday when we came home, yes, thats the fridge with a tootsie roll in his hand. He must have gotten hungry!!! Right, daddy!!!! Olivia was very upset when she came home and couldn't find him in his other spot. I had trouble finding him too so I called Bo and he said to check the fridge. I asked Olivia to get something out of the fridge and she found him-she was laughing so hard she started to cry, she said "that is one silly elf!!"

Here are the kids with just a few of their Christmas projects. Olivia is set on doing one EVERYDAY!!! It gets kindof tiring but she loves it so I try to come up with something everyday. The whole-"go color a Christmas picture" doesn't count for her. And poor Billy, wants to be involved so bad but he is so destructive that it just doesn't work so I pinned him in his highchair with rubber beads that he had a hay day with. The projects are supposed to be gifts to give to other people but neither Olivia or Bo are going for that. He claims them all...not really Christmas like but they are cute so it is hard to give them away.

Winter is here....we were only supposed to get a "dusting" of snow. It was quite beautiful. Until the next day it was all gone. But we have now been blessed with 3 more inches with more to come. It is definetly VERY cold here so this round should stick around for a while. It puts you more in the holiday mood.

Olivia finally got to make her gingerbread house. Oh what fun, I put it together and Bo and Olivia decorated it. I was busy keeping the little guy out of harms way. Meaning that if he touched it Olivia would have gotten him. He did finally sneak in towards the end. Bo gave him a piece of candy to put it on the house but he popped it right in his mouth. He gave him another one and he figured it out.

Ok, so i feel kindof scroogey when it comes to decorating my house this year but we finally got the tree. Actually Bo & Olivia went and got it as a suprise while Billy and I took a nap. I didn't have the heart to tell Bo that he broke the one tradition I was trying to do of going out to eat and then getting the tree as a family, he was too excited about suprising us, he even put the lights on and helped decorate. A job usually done by me. So yes, you can tell kids and husband helped decorate it but its cute. It has definetly gone from a beautiful color coordinated tree to an even more beautiful children hand made ornaments and all on one branch tree. We have even replaced the shining star on top with a glitter painted star on a toilet paper roll. But it means so much more and makes us smile every time we look at it. Of course little Billy likes to take one of the ball ornaments and run and hide!!!! He's our little demon!

These are my beautiful kiddos ready for Christmas. They did so good for these pictures. So far we are having a great time with all the Advent calendar stuff, which we received a HUGE box yesterday for more fun stuff-thanks Mom! The other night Olivia painted ornaments and colored pictures, then I fixed a big pot of semi homemade chicken noodle soup. I put Billy's highchair in the living room and let Olivia sit at the coffee table and we atched Polar Express. Which of course, sassy and I have seen alot but she didn't watch it last year so I think she kindof forgot some. It was very exciting to her and Billy just got such a kick out of it. I didn't think he would care but he laughed and clapped with excitement the whole movie, I must admit it made me a little misty eyed. Olivia got upset b/c she didn't think he would find the bell, I kept telling her to just watch and see but it really upset her when he got off the train to go home. Billy came over and sat by her, he put his head on her shoulder and did his little babbling to her like her was trying to tell her it was ok, it was very sweet. Then she realized he got the bell back and all was good.

Funny kid moment:

We get alot of charity mail around the holidays so Bo lets Olivia open it b/c sometimes they send cards and stuff. Well the other day she opened one that had 5 nickels taped to the letter- its purpose was for us to send it back with more money. But Ms. Olivia took it and ran to her dad and said "Daddy look, the poor people are sending us money now!" We just laughed.

Ok, so the Lucille name not a big hit, and yes I used to want Claire but that is Bo's bosses name and lets just say I am not too fond of her. I really like Caroline but Bo has an aunt that he doesn't care too much for and that is her name so here we are- stuck again!! I guess it's a good thing we have plenty of time. Amber, we are not finding out with this one, its pretty cool now b/c we have one of each so we really don't care if it's a boy or girl. As for a boy name, Bo is set on either, well - Bo, or he has always wanted Isaiah Joseph. I am still not 100% on Isaiah but we'll see. Well, we just pulled out the Advent Stocking. I am really excited about it this year because Olivia is a bit older and understands more. I had picked up more stuff last year after Christmas so it will be alot of fun. I really want to make this a special Christmas this year seeing as she is old enough to play along, last year was mainly about the little candies in each day, which of course were chocolate mints, which reminds me I better get to the store. I am also starting another small tradition with Miss Olivia. We are going to The Christmas Spectacular Show featuring the Rockettes- cost a bit more than I would like to spend but her and I really want to go. And she loves when I plan a special day for just her and I to do go so something with no boys!!! Bo didn't really care about a musical so him and Billy can play with the cows! I would like each year for just the girls to go see a show together and when Billy boy is old enough I will make a tradition with him, like the train thing. I also just ordered a Christmas letter from Santa to be sent to her which she will think is pretty cool. I love Christmas time!!! Anyway, Happy December!!

Ok, so its official, everyone now knows about our new addition coming in June!!! It was actually very funny how Bo was telling everyone. We decided to do it on Thanksgiving. Bo was out in the shop doing his duty of frying the turkeys, which is "Oh my" soooo good, anyway, he would bring one to the house when it was done. Billy would then run to him and fuss a bit, Bo would make a comment like "It's cause he wants a little brother", then the next comment was-"Billy's gonna be jealous". And NO ONE caught on, I think they were too worried about the turkey!! So by the time he brought the other turkey, he was still just making subtle hints that no one was catchin on to and then his mom said "it's like you're tryin to tell us something", and I said " he's been tryin all day and no one got it", thats when everyone got all excited and finally understood. They of course go in to "When are you buying a bigger house?" That we are unsure of right now, we are just happy to have another baby. It took Olivia a while to get that I was REALLY pregnant. It didn't click really till the next day but she is very excited, and Billy just hit my belly saying "bebe, bebe!" I think he has known all along..........By the way- IT"S SNOWING BIG TIME HERE!!!!! What a way to put you in the mood for Christmas!!!

Oh, the wonderful, crazy Whelan Family.....All I have to say is - CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG!!!!! Just kiddin...... but i do hear things and would just like to say that even with all the chaos and difference of opinions that many of us have whether it comes to religion, our children, the President or anything else I am still grateful to be part of such a wonderful family. I think its great that we all express our opinions(some more than others;) ) but thats what is so great about having such a big family. There is no way with this many people that we will all agree on everything. But just remember that we are family and we are entitled to have our opinions. I am not agreeing with or against anyone. I love my family and am thankful that I am still part of it even after the tough choices I made in my life. Even though it was hard, everyone came to accept my decision and my family which I am truely grateful for. I am also grateful that our family does not stray from each other just b/c we don't exactly agree on everything. I see alot of families that don't ever talk again b/c of things that are similar and I am just glad that everyone in our family understands that family is the most important thing. So with this beautiful holiday season coming up lets remember where we come from and how lucky we all are to be part of such a great family!!!!

So Olivia and I were driving to the mall yesterday and I had the new Faith Hill Christmas c.d. playing, yes I know a little early but its Faith!! Anyway, The Little Drummer Boy song came on after Santa Claus is coming to town and she wanted to hear another Santa song but I left it playing. Olivia asked me why she was making that noise, I tried to explain to her that it was the sound of a drum - "that's not a drum", she replied, "did Santa give it to her?", Realizing that Santa is about all she thinks about during Christmas I decided to explain the song to her. She does know who baby Jesus is but didn't know why the little boy was playing his drum. So, I then began to explain that he played the drum b/c he couldn't afford any gifts so he wanted to play him a song, I am a little over hormonal right now I guess cause it just hit me and I couldn't even get through it without choking up. Anyway, she got quiet and listened to the rest of the song and when it was over she asked to hear another song about Jesus. What a moment, that she asked for Jesus instead of Santa, was just over whelming to me. I have a very sweet girl.....

here is a play place that we went to to get my crazy 2 children out of the house on a gloomy cold day. it was nice to just sit back and let them play. its like that place we went to in Texas just 1/2 the size and 1/2 the noise level!!! Olivia just ran in and took off, of course not liking the idea that she had to wear socks (memories!!) but no fits this time. Billy was playing in a small area they have blocked of for little ones but then he discovered the balls that were for the basketball hoop and that is all he did after that, he would take them to anyone and throw the ball to them and of course they would throw back, he is too cute to resist. he is quite happy if he has a ball to play with. Thats what I would add to Heather's thankful list, is that I am thankful for a little boy who is pretty easy to please, I am thankful for the fact that that night Olivia went with her dad to the farm, Billy came and sat in my lap all night just cuddling with me and his meemee (blanket). I love Olivia dearly but it was nice to sit and watch the CMA's with my sweet little guy with out having to do anything else to make sure she was entertained, the t.v. probably would've been on Sponge bob or something. I am grateful that my big girl is learning so quickly without much effort. I just bought her a workbook yesterday and she finished the whole thing in no time, it was great to see how well she is learning and how much fun it is to her. And of course I am thankful for our next little bundle growing inside me, even though he/she makes me VERY sick I know that that means everything is going well. And I am thankful for this beautiful season that is approaching us so quickly, it seems to add so much peace to people. What a wonderful time of year.
